P2P Guide

How P2P Works With Payment Link + Chat

Create a payment link, let the buyer pay in the way that fits them best, and continue safely in a private chat room after payment. The goal is to keep the flow simple, human and easy to trust.

The P2P Flow
This is the cleanest way to think about WhisperMe. One person creates the request. The other person pays. The chat room opens after payment so both sides can finish the deal in one place.
1

Seller creates a payment link

The seller enters the wallet, the payout currency and the exact amount they want to receive. That amount stays locked.

2

Buyer opens a ready-made payment page

The link already knows what the seller wants. The buyer does not need to fill in the deal from scratch.

3

Buyer chooses how to pay

They can pay directly, swap and send, or use a buy-crypto route when available. WhisperMe shows the route in a simpler, more human way.

4

Chat room opens after payment

Once payment is confirmed, both sides continue inside MeetingPlace. This is where files, messages and optional PGP can be used to finish the trade.

5

The room expires automatically

The room is temporary. After 24 hours, the messages, files and keys are removed. That makes the room feel more like a private session than a permanent inbox.

What The Chat Room Is For
MeetingPlace is the human side of the deal. It should feel calm and clear, not like a trader dashboard.
24h Room Files Optional PGP Temporary
Use chat for the handoff

Delivery details, confirmation, proof and next steps should happen here so both sides stay in one flow.

Use files only when needed

The room supports files, but the default feeling should remain lightweight. Quick trade, quick handoff, then done.

PGP is optional, not mandatory

Advanced users can add end-to-end encryption. New users should still feel safe using the room without getting blocked by technical steps.

How Users Should Feel
This matters more than internal words like route, provider or rail.
I understand what happens next

The page should always answer what the next step is, whether the user is seller or buyer.

I know where the money or crypto is going

Destination wallet and amount should feel clear and steady throughout the flow.

I can finish the trade without leaving the flow

Payment, confirmation and chat should feel connected, not like separate tools stitched together.

Recommended Entry Points
Keep the choices simple depending on what the user wants to do.
I want to sell

Starts with creating a payment link. Best for true P2P trades.

I want to pay

Starts from an existing payment link and leads the buyer into the correct payment route.

I want to buy or swap

Starts in the hybrid terminal when there is no seller-created link.
